DESCRIPTION:XXIV Bienal de Flamenco \nANTOLOGÍA DE LA MUJER: 30 ANIVERSARIO \nEn 1996 albums that would change the flamenco language forever were heard on the musical scene. A títulos como “Omega”\, de Enrique Morente\, y “De aki a Ketama”\, de Ketama\, reissues such as “The Guitar Trio” by Paco de Lucía and “Antología” by Camarón de la Isla from that same year were added.. \nEn aquel contexto histórico musical\, Carmen Linares graba y estrena su disco “Antología de la mujer en el cante”\, acompañada por guitarristas como Vicente Amigo\, Tomatito\, Riqueni y Moraito\, among others. \nUn proyecto musical histórico\, which has been recognized as one of the 10 best albums in the history of flamenco and one of the 50 best Spanish albums of the 20th century. \nAl cumplirse el 30 aniversario de su grabación\, Carmen Linares brinda a su  Antología un tributo musical con una gira de conciertos únicos\, which has one of its most notable moments at the Seville Biennial. The singer has selected an essential repertoire of flamenco styles from the anthology album; cantiñas de Cádiz\, tangos from Granada and soleares from Triana lead a program that the singer performs with mastery together with women of flamenco category such as the singers Marina Heredia and María Terremoto and the dancer Rafaela Carrasco. \nUn auténtico espectáculo de cante\, touch and dance of a living flamenco legend. \n“Este concierto es mi gran homenaje al disco que cambió mi carrera artística y mi vida como cantaora para siempre.” \nCarmen Linares ha conquistado por méritos propios un lugar privilegiado en la cultura española contemporánea. Pertenece a una generación dorada del flamenco\, junto a Camarón\, Paco de Lucía\, Enrique Morente\, Manolo Sanlúcar or José Mercé. Due to her career and experience, she is considered a living legend of flamenco.. \nNacida en Linares (Jaen) in 1951 has placed his name at the top of the ranks of Spanish musical culture in the last four decades.. His first album dates from 1971\, grabado con el acompañamiento de la  guitarra maestra de Juan Habichuela. has published 15 discos y colaborado en una veintena de proyectos con artistas como Serrat\, Miguel Poveda\, Pitingo or Silvia Pérez Cruz. \nLa cantaora ha interpretado a artistas españoles universales como: Federico García Lorca\, Juan Ramón Jiménez\, Miguel Hernández y Manuel de Falla\, en proyectos como “Poeta en Nueva York”\, “Raíces y Alas”\, “Oasis abierto” y “El Amor Brujo”\, respectively. Propuestas con las que ha llevado su arte y maestría a algunos de los más prestigiosos escenarios del mundo\, como el Carnegie Hall de Nueva York\, la Opera House de Sídney\, the Cité de la Music in Paris or the Teatro Colón in Buenos Aires. \nDe su producción discográfica resalta su obra más destacada\, “Anthology of Women” (Universal\, 1996) acompañada de guitarristas como Tomatito\, Vicente Amigo\, Moraito and Pepe Habichuela. This work has been considered one of the best 10 albums in the history of flamenco and one of the best 50 Spanish records from the last half century. \nEn 2022\, recibió un galardón que supone un auténtico broche de oro a su carrera\, el Premio Princesa de Asturias de las Artes\, which he collected with María Pages in the traditional ceremony held in Oviedo.
