In sounding 3.0, José del Tomate undertakes an artistic journey marked by a vital and sound process of deconstruction: revisits the heritage of his lineage to dismantle it, question it and put it back together from your own truth. Far from breaking with the roots, This scenic proposal opens an intimate dialogue between tradition and experimentation.
The concert starts with the most essential aspects of flamenco: austere, raw, naked and, little by little, the guitar expands into new textures: effects, contemporary atmospheres and unexpected resonances that broaden the expressive horizon of his touch.
sounding 3.0 It is a journey of personal and professional transformation: an honest search for one's own sound where memory becomes a creative impulse and deconstruction on the way to a renewed voice of flamenco.
Jose Fernandez Torres, Jose del Tomato for the artistic world, He was born in Almería into a family in which the guitar is more than just an instrument.: It is a form of expression and creation, a heritage language. Son of maestro Tomatito and nephew of the legendary Niño Miguel, His connection with flamenco is from the cradle, with the deep and vital relationship that this implies.
He went on stage for the first time in his youth., accompanying his father on tours of Europe, America and Asia. That experience, as second guitar, has allowed him to acquire an artistic maturity unusual for his age. The rigor of the live, Constant listening and the responsibility of accompanying one of the most recognized guitarists in the world of flamenco have shaped his current vision of the flamenco guitar..
In 2018 published his first album, Old Square, a work that breathes tradition and that, without departing from the classic codes of touch, already shows a very personal melodic sensitivity. At the moment, José del Tomate is beginning a new stage in his artistic career. After years of accompanying, listen and learn, begins his path as a soloist, composer and creator with his own voice. Their second album, planned for 2026, It is prefigured as a step forward, but not as an aggressive break with the previous, but as conscious evolution. His guitar remains anchored in the roots, but looking for space for other textures and ways of narrating flamenco.
